Brac is the largest and one of the most beautiful of all Dalmatian islands. With its 20 towns, safe and peaceful coastline, crystal clear blue water, real Mediterranean climate and flora, Brac offers an option to have a pleasant and eventful holiday.

Brac’s capital, Supetar has a ferry port that is connected to Split (mainland) by daily ferry lines. From the town of Split (a busy cosmopolitan city, the cultural and economic centre of Dalmatia) the island of Brac can be reached in just 50 minutes.

Brac is the only Dalmatian island that has its own international airport, offering opportunities to fly to various European cities and towns, as well as to other destinations within Croatia.

The island is also the home of the most famous beach in Croatia, Zlatni Rat = Golden Cape, which is a very popular destination for tourists during the summer months. Also, there is the highest peak of the Adriatic islands (Vidova gora = The Vidova Mountain) above the city of Bol.

Town of Sutivan

Sutivan is a little town with an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere and about 800 inhabitants. It is located on the Northwest coast of the island, only 7 km away from Supetar, and 13 km far from the mainland (town of Split). This small and peaceful settlement has several beautiful pebble beaches, all surrounded by lush green pine forests.

The inhabitants of Sutivan are historically connected to agriculture, fishing and seamanship. Sutivan is surrounded by arranged olive-plantations, vineyards and mandarin-fields to which tourists come by regular (local) roads. The pedestrian and bicycle-paths are ideal for sport and recreation.
With the number of coffee-bars, clubs and restaurants surrounding the harbor, Sutivan is a great destination for any visitor. It exudes charm and tranquility and it is an ideal place for a quiet family holiday.

With its Mediterranean climate and lovely people, visitors will find that the island of Brac and Sutivan are the perfect places to spend your summer holidays.
